This Christmas I was given an unexpected gift. Now I wish I could tell you that I found out we were pregnant.. but nope that’s not it (bummer right??) Before Christmas I had blood work done to prepare for IVF and it came back with elevated hormone levels so they wanted to recheck. When the next set of blood work I did a few days later came back with the same high levels, they told me we couldn’t start IVF for at minimum a month so they could get those hormones under control and normal. I’m going to need more glitter for this update…
There is no easy way to start this one so I’m just going to jump right in.. after healing from the 3rd surgery, we have had 5 months of trying to get prego with fertility treatments. All unsuccessful.. obviously.. So we have now officially jumped on the IVF bandwagon. Our doctor is getting concerned that if we wait too much longer, my fibroids will start coming back in a way that will prevent pregnancy and the last thing I want to do is have surgery #4.
